This is a reminder that our next meeting will be at Seasons in the Park at Queen Elizabeth Park on March 22nd. Our guest speaker via Zoom will be Emily Bakhitah, who is a member of the Rotary Club of Kisumu Winam in Kenya. Emily is the founder of an NGO called the Rise to Shine Education Foundation, which formally operated as a CBO (community organization) called Scars to Stars in Kenya. Rise to Shine Education foundation seeks to empower and enable young, bright needy students from four counties (Siaya, Kisumu, Migori, and Homabay) in the lake region of Kenya which is greatly affected by chronic poverty and the exploitation of young people.
Emily is a graduate of Masters of Public Policy from Strathmore University and also works with Red Ribber Ball Foundation, a UK based organization working with youth in Kenya.

We hope you'll be able to join us, so please register by Tuesday so that we can give the staff an estimate of our numbers. We hope to see you there!
