2021/22 Membership fees - Half Year

The Rotary Membership dues run from July 1st - June 30th in any given year.  So it is that time once again to pay Rotary International the dues for each Member.

The dues have been frozen at $310 for the year, however The Rotary Foundation have asked that clubs consider placing a donation portion for the foundation into the dues because they have had such a poor year with COVID and as a way for clubs to do some of the fundraising early on from day one, to hit their targets.  Rotary has asked that clubs consider adding up to $100.

At the last meeting the Foundation Chair raised this question and the club thought this would be a good idea, so we have set the additional amount less at $40.

What this means:

- For this year Dues will be $350 which will include the $310 plus

- there will be a $40 Donation in your name to the foundation

- You will receive a Tax Receipt for the $40

- and you will receive credit for the Paul Harris award

The $310 dues doesn’t actually stay with the club, other than a small percent, each year on July 1st we are billed from Rotary international and then from Rotary District 5040 The dues go to support Rotary and thus the fundraising we do throughout the year supports our club and our local/international giving.
