Giving Tuesday is November 30th

Each year we work in our club and around the community to embrace Giving Tuesday and the marketing around for it to raise money for the ROTARY FOUNDATION, this has been one of the most successful and important ways to raise funds and hit our targets for the year.

This year the program is back and streamlined slightly.

GOLF DAY for Fraserview

The second Golf and fundraiser was held at Mylora golf Club.  Everyone had a great time, weather was perfect.  After 11 straight days of rain the clouds broke and we had sunshine for just our golf day.

We raised $300 for the Rotary Foundation.

Thanks everyone.

Community Garden & brought to life by our club

Rotary Vancouver Fraserview Members (Jonas championed this project) met with the BIA on Fraser St. and a local parking operator to put in a community garden at the parking ares behind Fraser st.   A plaque will be installed indicating it is a Rotary Project.

This will not only make the area more appealing but will improve sustainability and provide a model for the kinds of things the community can do.

There will be the option to expand this program.
